We were asked by The Archivist to try to find an agent of his that has disappeared. We pursue and find Kringle Nickmas, an elf that works for The Archivist. After helping him, he gives us a senet board to hand to The Oba. Turns out that this was The Oba's personal senet board from ages long past, and her heart grew two sizes after receiving it.

Walter checks out a local shop, the Chronicle of Charms, a member of the glassblowing guild
- It's an immaculate shop full of delicate, intricate pieces of work run by Ceva
- Walter knocks over a bunch of shelves in the store
- Walter is training for a day to learn how to create a Prince Rupert's Drop
- Walter has not perfected the Prince Rupert's drop yet, but has learned a bit about making strong glass
Jin decides to people watch in the city while we are stuck here. He notices that there is a rotation of three humans that do a regular rotation of patrols through the city

- Run by a person named Joyce, a very flamboyant person
- Erica tries to negotiate over a garnet she finds in the store
- She manages to buy it at 90 gold, despite it being worth significantly more
- In exchange, she promises to help with the shop's application to be a guild-approved vendor
